About International Shyam Brass Band

Shyam Brass Band or more popularly known as Shyam Band, established in 1971 by our founder Late Shri. Ishwari Prasad. Shyam Band is one of India’s finest authentic and first internationally acclaimed brass band specialized in performing processions at festivals, weddings and other high profile events.The band group is as big as 150 musicians consisting of musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds, and play a range of instruments including, trumpets, trombones, saxophones, clarinets, dhol & other traditional Indian style leather/fiber based rhythm instruments and percussions. The concept behind the band is based on traditional brass bands from the Indian sub-continent which are an integral part of the Indian culture and play an essential role at any high profile event such as Indian weddings, religious festivals, social events of importance and even jazz festivals, they are regularly seen marching through the towns and villages dressed in their unique eye-catching outfits.
